Discover the Bamboo Difference

Sustainable

Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on the planet. Some types of bamboo can grow up to three feet in a day. Sustainable and self-regenerating, bamboo does not need to be replanted after being harvested.

Clean and Natural

Bamboo only needs natural rainwater.  No pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers, or chemicals. Cotton is considered the world’s “dirtiest” crop, because of its heavy use  of insecticides.  (It  takes  one  third of a  pound  of synthetic fertilizer to produce the cotton in one t-shirt.)

Earth Friendly

By absorbing 5 times the amount of CO2 (and other green-house gasses) and producing 35% more oxygen than its equivalent stand of trees, bamboo is effective in reducing global warming.

Soft, Comfortable, and Cool

Bamboo fiber makes a much softer material than cotton and, to the touch, is similar to silk or cashmere.  It wicks away moisture from the skin and absorbs 3 to 4 times  better  than  cotton.  It also stays 2 to 3 degrees cooler in warm temperatures.

The designs  on our
women’s bamboo t-shirts are  printed  with  environmentally friendly water-based  inks,   instead   of  the   cheaper  plastisol chemicals on conventional shirts.  Water-based  inks  provide  a  softer, more natural  look and feel.
